Overview

Granador is a later, dense, high yielding and disease resistant forage triticale. It is ideally suited for whole crop cereal silage in most regions of Southern Australia. Granador is significantly higher yielding and has better quality than Monstress.

Whole Crop Cereal silage is where the entire crop is cut, chopped and used for pit or wrapped silage. It is used to maximise production of dry matter and conserve fodder. Tritcale is useful as a valuable break in pasture systems and as a step in pasture renovations.
